Trinity Academy South Bend, was established in 2025, carrying forward the rich heritage of Trinity School at Greenlawn, which first opened its doors in 1981. While the school’s name, formal entity, and governance have evolved to embrace a broader community beyond The People of Praise, its foundational mission and commitment to academic excellence remain steadfast.

The vision for this institution emerged from a deep dissatisfaction with the prevailing educational norms. The founders believed that students must first master the fundamentals—reading, writing, and mathematics—while also developing the ability to think critically, write with clarity, and grasp the historical and intellectual traditions that have shaped civilization. They should be well-versed in their own language, acquainted with the great ideas and works of the past, and inspired by a lifelong love of learning. Trinity Academy continues to provide this vision in the South Bend, Indiana area and on the same campus, at the corner of Greenlawn and Jefferson, where the original Trinity School was founded.
